Guide
How Solar Market works
A focused marketplace for refurbished and off-grid solar — panels, batteries, and inverters — with messaging built in and buyer protection on the way.
- 1
Browse verified gear
Filter refurbished panels, batteries, and inverters by specs, condition, and price.
- 2
Message the seller
Ask about condition, shipping, and install notes before you buy — right in the app.
- 3
Buy with protection
Checkout with Stripe Connect is next. Funds will be held until delivery is confirmed.
For buyers
- Filter by category, condition, wattage, and capacity.
- Message sellers about condition photos, shipping, and install notes.
- Checkout with Stripe Connect escrow is coming soon — until then, treat Buy as a placeholder and coordinate with the seller in Messages.
For sellers
- Sign in, open Sell, and list refurbished or used gear with clear specs.
- Upload photos and set price, location, and condition grade.
- Respond to buyer messages from the Messages inbox.
- Stripe Connect onboarding will unlock payouts when payments go live.
